NHTEA Competencies and Curriculum Update Work Session

8:30 am - 3:00 pm

May 17, 2008

Newfound Regional HS, Bristol, NH

All are welcome to attend and participate in the updating of our Tech Ed Curriculum Guide and help write competencies and assessment rubrics for the 13 identified course competencies from the CACES training. We need high school and middle school grade level Tech Educators from throughout the state to pitch in on this vital project. You do not have to have been involved in the CACES training to participate.

Directions to Newfound back to top

To get to Newfound Regional High School, from the north or south, take exit 23 from I93 and head west on route 104, toward Bristol. In just over 2 miles you will see a sign for Newfound Regional High School on
your right. Turn right onto Newfound Road, and then take the first entrance into the school parking lot.

From the east, use the same directions once on route 104.

From the west, take route 4 to Danbury and then east on route 104, through the center of Bristol and continue on 104 until you see the school sign on the left (just under 5 miles). Turn left onto Newfound
Road and take the first entrance into the parking lot.

From the parking lot, you will see the brick walls of the auditorium jutting out between two main entrances. Use the entrance on your right, and follow signs to room 312 .

Driving time from Concord is just about 30 minutes. Driving time from Plymouth is about 15 minutes.

Questions? Call me at school (603-744-6006 ext. 113) or my cell (603-344-1166) or at home (603-744-5994).

My understanding was that the worksession was scheduled the same as the last, from 8:30 am until 3 pm. If I am wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me!
